This afternoon,
when I make my way out I was reminded by my mom to pack an umbrella since it will probably rain later.
Slipped into my usual comfortable flats and then, hopped into the car. I totally forgot about the umbrella. And that's how my lazy Sunday starts. Hit the road and I'm on my way to the city to meet a few long lost faces for lunch.
By 4pm, it was raining cats and dogs and I had to walk over to Pavilion to get some stuff before I head home. Since I forgot to bring my umbrella, I had to walked under the rain to get to Pavilion which was about 5 minutes walk from where I am. So, I pulled out my scarf from my bag and covered my head.
I increased my pace as the rain was getting heavier.
"Shit!"
I cursed under my breath for forgetting to pack my umbrella and now, I'm drenched by the rain. From head to toe.
I noticed a girl in front of me with a purple umbrella looked behind two times and when I was finally pacing beside her, she turned and said "Hey, do you want to share my umbrella?"
I stopped and smiled, I was in a hurry, so I said "No, thanks. But that was really nice of you."
Little friendly things strangers do that instantly put a smile on my face.
And that made my day.
